What is La Chandeleur?

La Chandeleur (Candlemas or Crêpe Day) is celebrated 40 days after Christmas Day in France, on February 2, which, this year, is the day of the Super Bowl! That is the reason why we decided to have our Crêpes Party on February 1st.

The origins of the celebration date from ancient times, but over the centuries many French regions have created their own traditions to ward off evil spirits, or guarantee prosperity for the coming year.

Our Crêpes party

Members and guests will be getting appetizers, dinner crepes and dessert crepes. Wine, beer, cidre, Perrier and soda will be by sold by the glass like our other events.
